Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Fever, a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, and become a Senior Software Engineer. You will be part of the engineering team responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining Fever's services. The role involves working with a variety of technologies, including Python, Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, and AWS. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance. Requirements

• Strong knowledge on good practices, testing and design patterns
• Proficiency in business English
• Ability to deliver code from development to production
• Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption)
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain all Fever services
• Create production-grade Python code designed to handle high levels of traffic
• Measure the outcome of functionalities and improve the product
• Come up with solutions to new difficult problems, defining the solution from the architecture design to its implementation
• Analyze the usage from the users and evolve the platform to meet the user’s needs
• Participate in the launch of new microservices, from 0 to production
• Mentor other team members through code reviews, sessions of architecture design and pair programming
• Participate in plannings, groomings and retrospectives of the team
• Get familiar with Fever’s tech stack: frameworks used to develop our applications, CI/CD workflows and infrastructure that support our operations
• Attend some of the Fever Original’s experiences like Candlelight
• Participate in some of the hackdays or hackathons we organise with other teams
• Participate in some of the team buildings we organise for your team or the whole engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Django/Flask
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with Celery with RabbitMQ
• Experience working on agile methodology
• Experience with event communication between services
• Experience handling services with more than 1000 request/second
• Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes

• Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance. Base Salary: 50.000 - 65.000EUR
• Total Compensation: 67.500 - 90.000EUR (Including Base, Variable, and Stock Options)
