Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development, focusing on web applications
• Strong expertise in Python and modern web frameworks (Django is a must)
• Experience with React and front-end development best practices
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and scalable backend architectures
• Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and ORMs
• Experience with Cloud Services (AWS) in production environments
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, Grafana)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to define system requirements and technical strategies
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure technical excellence
• Identify and address technical debt while continuously improving system performance
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability for production systems
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges and system architecture decisions
• Participate in design reviews and technical planning sessions
• Contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and automation
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence
• Work closely with engineers across teams to solve cross-functional challenges efficiently
• Bring a proactive mindset, taking initiative to solve problems and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in PropTech, or working in Screening and Fraud Prevention, Billing & Payments, e-Contracts, or e-Signature
• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience as a Technical Lead, Staff Engineer, or similar senior technical role
