Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML systems, including developing and deploying generative models
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Python
• Familiarity with database management and querying, such as SQL, MongoDB, or similar systems
• Strong experience with AWS and IaC tools such as Terraform
• Solid understanding of ML infrastructure, including data pipelines, model serving, and scaling solutions
• Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful AI solutions in production environments
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining AI/ML best practices, such as CI/CD pipelines and monitoring
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A collaborative team player with experience mentoring peers and contributing to shared team goals

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, training, and optimization of large-scale generative AI models to support innovative use cases across Headspace
• Own the lifecycle of generative AI initiatives, from ideation to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable production systems
• Build and enhance the generative AI platform using AWS and modern development tools, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of generative AI systems by implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and alerting systems
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into Headspace’s products and services
• Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
