Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Holycode as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the development of Foratable, a revolutionary table reservation system. As part of an international team, you will build new features, maintain existing functionality, and enhance the product using PHP 8 or Java. This role requires a Master's degree, 5+ years of experience, and expertise in data structures, algorithms, and service-oriented architectures. Requirements

• Masters degree and 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Good knowledge about data structures, algorithms, and data types
• Experience with service oriented architectures (SOA) and event sourcing
• Passion for teamwork, code quality, and agile techniques (CI/CD, automated testing, trunk based development)
• Good understanding of Functional Programming, Event Sourcing, and CQRS
• Experience with Java (Spring)
• Proficient in both written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Build new features with the product team (PHP 8 or Java)
• Maintain and improve existing functionality (PHP 8)
• Write unit tests and functional tests for added functionality
• Support the design and implementation of architectural principles
• Closely interact with product managers and software, test automation, and DevOps engineers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a language like Haskell, Scala, or Rust
