Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join JetInsight's growing engineering team as a full-stack Senior Software Engineer. You will contribute to all areas of our best-in-class quoting and fleet management software, tackling challenging problems related to route optimization, dynamic pricing, and real-time flight data. Your work will significantly impact our expanding network of aircraft charter operators. This role requires a proven track record in software engineering, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to build scalable solutions. Experience with Rails, React, and/or PostgreSQL is a plus. Requirements

• 2+ years of proven success as a Software Engineer in a technology company working on a web-based product
• Raw intelligence in engineering, with a track record of high performance and results
• A history of shipping production-quality software
• Self-motivation and an attitude that gets things done
• A desire to learn and immerse yourself in a new industry to truly understand the customer
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate in teams

Responsibilities

• Architecting scalable solutions for new products and major product enhancements
• Independently shipping production-quality code with an eye towards usability, performance, and extensibility
• Maintaining customer empathy and a customer-focused engineering mindset
• Building and maintaining automated testing on your contributions to the product
