Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join JetInsight's growing engineering team as a full stack Senior Software Engineer and work on all areas of the JetInsight product. You will solve challenging problems involving route optimization, dynamic pricing, and real-time flight data, impacting our rapidly growing network of operators. Responsibilities include architecting scalable solutions, shipping production-quality code, maintaining customer empathy, and building automated testing. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a technology company working on a web-based product, demonstrating raw intelligence, a history of shipping production-quality software, self-motivation, a desire to learn, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with Rails, React, and/or PostgreSQL is a plus.

• 2+ years of proven success as a Software Engineer in a technology company working on a web-based product
• Raw intelligence in engineering, with a track record of high performance and results
• A history of shipping production-quality software
• Self-motivation and an attitude that gets things done
• A desire to learn and immerse yourself in a new industry to truly understand the customer
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate in teams

Responsibilities

• Architecting scalable solutions for new products and major product enhancements
• Independently shipping production-quality code with an eye towards usability, performance, and extensibility
• Maintaining customer empathy and a customer-focused engineering mindset
• Building and maintaining automated testing on your contributions to the product
