Summary
Join Level Access as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the development of an innovative technology platform focused on web accessibility. You will write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, collaborate with an Agile scrum team, and participate in architectural decisions. As a technical expert, you will mentor peers and foster a supportive team culture. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 6+ years of full-stack web development experience, and strong JavaScript skills. Experience with accessibility standards and various technologies is also essential. Bonus points are awarded for experience with specific tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of proven experience with full-stack web development
- Strong experience with vanilla JavaScript ES6+ and a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
- Experience with TypeScript, as well as JavaScript ecosystem tooling such as liters/formatters/bundlers (ESlint/Prettier/webpack)
- Extensive experience in crafting and developing adaptive and adaptable web user interfaces optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms
- Knowledge of API design, event handling in the browser, and modern asynchronous programming, including experience building or integrating with APIs and working with asynchronous data flows
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals and knowledge of DOM
- Ability to write code with accessibility in mind and a dedication to crafting an inclusive user experience
- Knowledge or willingness to learn our tech-stack: TypeScript, HTML, SASS, Angular, React, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, Rabbit
- Ability to communicate sophisticated ideas clearly, and to listen carefully to the needs and experiences of others
- Knowledge of Scrum framework
Responsibilities

- Participate actively as a member of an Agile scrum team, driving the successful delivery of projects
- Collaborate on architectural decisions and give to the technical vision for our Product-led SaaS solutions
- Collaborate effectively across teams to implement accessible, user-centered features
- Share knowledge and expertise to help peers grow their skills

- Experience using Git / Gitflow / Bitbucket
- Jira & Confluence
- Webpack, Rollup
- Jasmine, Puppeteer
- ESLint
- AWS, Docker, K8S, Terraform
- Experience with Web Application Security / OWASP standard methodologies
- Experience with accessible web design including Section 508 and WCAG
- Experience with LeSS or another large-scale scrum framework
- Prior experience building scalable applications for the cloud
