Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Liftoff's Attribution & Applications team as a software engineer and build and maintain the company's attribution systems. You will be responsible for data processing pipelines, high-performance services, and collaborating with the product team on strategy. This role requires strong coding skills, core CS fundamentals, and experience with large-scale distributed systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of experience or a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience are required. The position offers full-time remote work options in several states and a competitive compensation package including equity and health benefits. AdTech experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Very solid coding ability
• Solid core CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, architecting systems)
• A high bar for quality and perfection, and the ability to temper it when necessary to ship
• Sets ego aside in pursuit of finding the best solution, no matter where it comes from
• Self-motivated and ability to get things done
• Excited to work on large scale distributed systems
• Excited to build and hone data-science skills
• B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent) & 5+ years software engineering experience or M.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent) & 3+ years software engineering experience
• A healthy sense of fun!

Responsibilities

• Build and have end-to-end ownership of Liftoff's attribution systems, including data processing pipelines, and high-performance services
• Build a deep knowledge of data that Liftoff collects to influence ML and data-driven applications
• Partner with the product team to plan short and long term strategy
• Contribute to an “engineering excellence” culture through state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review
• Leverage your expertise in Go, SQL, or other technologies to empower and mentor the engineering team - maximizing team velocity
