Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure design and deployment
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong background in cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a focus on scalability and performance
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Sentry, Prometheus, ELK stack)
• A solid understanding of security best practices in infrastructure design and management
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Be the first Infrastructure Engineer at Marker, taking on leadership responsibilities and driving a diverse range of high-impact projects
• Design, implement, and deploy infrastructure solutions for customer applications, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
• Collaborate across teams—including design, operations, and product management—to understand user needs and identify impactful engineering opportunities
• Drive engineering design reviews and champion technical excellence to deliver high-quality solutions
• Shape the medium- and long-term product and infrastructure strategy to align with company goals and user needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing HIPAA compliance requirements
• Background in security and privacy-focused infrastructure design
• Familiarity with machine learning and data science infrastructure
