Senior Software Engineer

Summary

In this remote, full-time role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications used by parents and educators to track student progress and customize curriculum. Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with
• C#/.NET (or expertise in a similar language)
• Vue.js or similar reactive frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
• CSS and modern front-end styling practices
• SQL or similar database technologies
• Github or similar
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, modern front-end development, and clean code
• Strong communication skills and experience giving and receiving code reviews
• Experience mentoring other developers
• Experience with version control systems
• Experience successfully working remotely

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable web applications using C# and Vue.js
• Collaborate with product and engineering managers, stakeholders, and other teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver value-adding features to our consumers
• Write clean and testable code
• Lead and mentor more junior developers in code quality, clean architecture, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Experience with GCP (or similar cloud architecture)
• Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, K8s)
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Experience with enterprise migration patterns
• Passion for education and empowering the future generation
