Senior Software Engineer

Summary

MultiversX is seeking an experienced software developer to join their Protocol team. The candidate will work on complex software development problems related to blockchain solutions, collaborate with other teams, and contribute to features and research activities. Prior experience in the Blockchain ecosystem is not mandatory but would be beneficial.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Golang, demonstrating a deep understanding of Go generics, programming paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Have practical experience with data structures, algorithms, REST APIs, and a thorough comprehension of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

Responsibilities

• Work on protocol (the heart of MultiversX) together with the core team
• Solve complex software development problems
• Analyze and collect data from the network, perform analysis on it, identify problems, devise and implement solutions, including best practices, and conduct experiments to validate these solutions
• Contribute to features, research activities, prototypes development by implementing and driving improvements on all areas
• Work in collaboration with other engineers across MultiversX to design creative solutions to challenging problems and new products
• Work in all popular programming languages in the ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

• Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for learning new things and a willingness to work with multiple languages and domains. Knowledge of additional languages such as C++, Python, Java, TypeScript, low-level programming, or productivity tools would be advantageous
• Value software engineering practices, including defensive programming, test-driven development, and automated testing
