Summary

Join our 800+ strong team as a Senior Software Engineer (PHP) and contribute to complex, high-load projects in e-commerce and logistics. You will design and develop high-performance software solutions, ensuring their stability, maintainability, and scalability. As a senior engineer, you will set coding standards, mentor colleagues, and proactively identify project risks. You will need proven experience with PHP, Symfony, MySQL, and various other technologies. Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with PHP, particularly using the Symfony framework, alongside expertise in MySQL
  • A strong commitment to industry best practices in software development and security, with a focus on maintaining high standards for coding and project guidelines
  • Active involvement in code review processes to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Experience with technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ or similar systems
  • Ability to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, ensuring software reliability, functionality, and performance
  • Ability to adapt and apply new technologies that align with project requirements and technical strategy
  • Proven skills in requirement analysis and designing robust software solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Proactive in identifying potential project risks and effectively communicating possible impacts and solutions to ensure smooth project execution
  • Strong proficiency in communication in both English and Lithuanian

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance tailored software solutions
  • Take responsibility for the technical well-being of the project by actively contributing to its stability, maintainability, and long-term success
  • Set coding standards and project-specific best practices to ensure the production of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions, and participate in code reviews to uphold these standards
  • Proactively anticipate project risks and communicate potential impacts and solutions before issues escalate, ensuring smooth project delivery
  • Mentor younger colleagues and help deal with technical problems
  • Understand the broader project context, including business goals and strategic objectives, to align technical efforts accordingly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and cloud architecture is a plus
