Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Full-stack Engineer specializing in backend development, you will contribute to the Audience team, responsible for the Customer Data Platform and Segmentation Engine. You will design, develop, and test features, resolve technical challenges, maintain features, and share best practices. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining scalable systems, a customer-centric approach, and experience with Golang or a comparable backend language. Familiarity with React, modern software build pipelines, NoSQL and SQL databases, real-time messaging tools, cloud providers, and event-based architecture is also desired. Requirements

• Hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high-load systems
• Customer centricity - putting the customer at the core of all business decisions and actions
• Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
• Experience with real-time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
• Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services)
• Experience with event-based architecture

Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to product development decisions
• Design, develop, and test features
• Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
• Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Share best practices with team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang
• Experience with React or any equivalent framework with willingness to learn React
• Proficiency in NoSQL and SQL database, with willingness to learn MongoDB, BigQuery, PostgreSQL
