Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer to help build solutions that make it possible to better know our homes. This role will involve collaborating across functions to design, build, and release new systems that drive learnings to our business so we can better serve our customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture with a focus on design patterns and reliability of new and existing systems
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or manager of an engineering team

Responsibilities

• Work with product and design to evaluate, solution, and implement new features, driving the full development lifecycle from idea to release across the frontend and backend
• Mentor and coach other engineers, sharing best practices around coding and architecture that support a business at an early growth stage
• Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions as you work with other software engineers, UX designers, and product managers
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development velocity and iteration speed
