Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Ordergroove's Selling Strategies Team as a Full Stack Software Engineer and contribute to the development of our platform and external APIs used by major global brands. You will collaborate with a passionate engineering team, build and scale distributed systems, and mentor junior members. This role requires 3-5 years of full-stack experience with a backend focus, proven Python expertise, and a commitment to high-quality code. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, a team player, and passionate about continuous improvement. Requirements

• 3-5 years full stack with focus on backend development
• Skilled communicator and you are comfortable articulating complex ideas and talking abstract concepts
• Proven expertise in Python development
• You care about code quality, know what it means to ship high quality code, and are eager to continuously improve by leaving the grass greener on any piece of the platform you get to work on
• Proven team player that's ready to help others when needed

Responsibilities

• Develop Ordergroove's platform and External APIs for some of the biggest brands in the world, impacting the lives of millions of users
• Code, write some tests, but most importantly collaborate with an awesome group of highly passionate engineers
• Opportunity to build and learn distributed systems centered around high-availability and continuous deployment
• Scale our platform to support exponential user growth
• Mentor members in your group, help breakdown and scoping of new projects as well as be an engaged participant in architecture brainstorms

Preferred Qualifications

• You are familiar with Google Cloud and Kubernetes
• You have professional experience with Django
• You have experience with one or more of e-commerce products, high traffic SaaS products
