Summary

Join Rackner as a Senior Software Engineer supporting a US Army-MI Intelligence Community contract at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). You will work on implementing a Secure Risk Management Framework (RMF), cloud brokering architectures, and cloud services across various security domains. This role requires extensive experience in software development, infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps, and working with Linux and cloud technologies like AWS. A strong background in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.) and experience with tools like Terraform and Vault is essential. The position is remote but requires Crossplane experience and an active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance. Requirements

  • 10+ years software development with programming, scripting, or markup languages
  • Utilize languages such as: Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML
  • Provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as Terraform, Vault/Secrets Manager, and with Platform as a Service technologies
  • Working with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS and load balancing
  • IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security +
  • AWS Certification(30 days after start date)
  • Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) Clearance
  • Must have Crossplane exp

Responsibilities

  • Design, architecture, Infrastructure as code, networking and core services necessary to facilitate cloud adoption across all network domains
  • Provide a foundation from which Army MI applications can reach cyber authorization more efficiently
  • Utilize cloud technology and automaton to reduce data center infrastructure, while enhancing overall security
  • Implementation of Secure Risk Management framework (RMF), cloud brokering architectures and required cloud services on the Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified domains

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree; Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • Utilize Crossplane
