Summary

The Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack Blockchain) role at RISC Zero involves driving the development and deployment of their ZK layer technology. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in engineering a layer 1 blockchain, proficiency in Solidity, Rust, GoLang, APIs, excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and adaptability to new technologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in engineering a layer 1 blockchain, ideally from its nascent state
• Mastery of Solidity alongside demonstrated proficiency in Rust, with secondary expertise in GoLang
• Proven experience in managing and deploying smart contracts
• Strong background in building and maintaining APIs, with experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of inspiring and guiding teams to achieve goals
• Proficiency in time management and prioritizing tasks effectively
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of the full ZK stack and mainnet, enabling users to deploy ZK applications independently
• Develop and integrate the marketplace and our universal ZK layer, ensuring ease of use and language agnosticism
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive demand and unlock various use cases for our universal ZK layer
• Ensure the technology stack remains up-to-date and capable of supporting complex network changes and deployments
