Summary
Join Rula's Applications Platform team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to building scalable and reliable backend systems. You will design and build critical systems impacting daily operations and platform functionality. This role requires collaboration, problem-solving, and driving innovation. The position demands experience in building highly scalable systems and managing the entire development lifecycle. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- Demonstrated success building positive relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Experience in building highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems
- Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, execution, and measuring success, post-launch maintenance
- Proven track record of modern applications design architecture, good API design patterns, security, performance, and scaling
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems critical to Rula's day-to-day operations and platform functionality
- Solve complex technical challenges

- Drive innovation supporting Rula's mission to deliver impactful and cohesive solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at early or growth-stage companies
- Demonstrated success leveraging data to inform decisions
- Experience with AWS or equivalent platforms
- Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka
