Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience, with 1+ years leading AI/ML systems in production
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or HuggingFace
• Deep understanding of ML fundamentals, LLM fine-tuning/inference, and MLOps best practices
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, K8s)
• Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable AI systems for core business functions (e.g., claims processing, underwriting, customer support)
• Lead end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion to model training to inference in production
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to identify high-leverage AI use cases
• Translate ambiguous problems into well-defined projects with measurable outcomes
• Ensure explainability, fairness, and regulatory compliance in AI applications
• Partner with data engineering to improve data infrastructure for training and inference
• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and experimentation
