Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join SD Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the development of an AI-driven co-pilot for home renovation and property management. This role focuses on building a system to onboard home service providers and manage project lifecycles. You will design and implement scalable APIs, integrate AI tools like OpenAI and Vapi.ai, automate communication and decision-making, and build features for quote and project management. The position requires proficiency in Python or Node.js, experience with React.js, and familiarity with AI/ML tools. It's a full-time, remote position with occasional sync meetings in PST.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python (Django/Flask) or Node.js (Express)
• Experience with React.js, HTML/CSS , and JavaScript for front-end development
• Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs and database management ( MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, and Vapi.ai
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and integrations
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for working in cross-functional teams
• Self-driven and comfortable with remote collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable APIs and data pipelines
• Develop backend logic for managing provider onboarding and project workflows
• Leverage tools like OpenAI, Vapi.ai, etc to automate communication and decision-making
• Build AI capabilities for natural language interactions (voice/text) to manage quotes, provider questions, and project updates
• Automate the process of adding new home service providers, including document submission, verification, and compliance tracking
• Build features to manage provider activity, performance metrics, and operational readiness
• Automate outreach to service providers for quotes via SMS, email, and voice
• Analyze and rank quotes using AI, supporting project managers in provider selection
• Enable seamless communication between project managers and providers, including scheduling calls and resolving follow-ups
• Integrate with an existing CRM system
• Design and implement features like automated Gantt chart creation, budget management, and enhanced data analytics for projects
