Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join SentinelOne's SaaS Performance team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our cybersecurity solutions deliver unmatched speed and reliability. You will develop and maintain platforms for performance improvement, design tools for performance analysis and testing, analyze complex product architecture, and promote scalability and reliability across SaaS products and services. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in designing services and developing features using Java or Golang, a passion for software performance, and proven knowledge in designing and architecting large-scale cloud applications. You will work with industry-leading cloud technologies, solve real-time performance challenges, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the field. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in safeguarding the digital world and redefine what's possible in SaaS engineering.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in designing services and developing features using Java or Golang
• Passion for software performance and history of improving it
• Proven knowledge in: designing and architecting large and scalable cloud-based applications, developing on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP etc.), and containerization & orchestration (Docker, Helm & Kubernetes)
• Experience with performance testing(K6, Gatling), profiling and monitoring tools
• Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain platform for improving performance across multiple products
• Define, design and develop tools for performance analysis and testing
• Analyze design and architecture of complex products
• Promote scalability and reliability across wide range of SaaS products and services
• Efficiently work with large amounts of data, analyzing and extracting key performance and scalability insights
• Be an expert in performance and scalability, integrating industry best practices with development team practices
