Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on early-stage web product development
  • You value having strong opinions, believe in ownership, and thrive in a high-velocity environment
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can make progress independently
  • You've been an early (<10) engineering hire at least once
  • You have deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, demonstrated through shipping production applications using frameworks like React, Node.js , or similar

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of technologies from both web2 and web3, integrating them seamlessly into both our user experience and tech stack (React, Next.js , PostgreSQL, Prisma, AWS, TypeScript)
  • Collaborate with other engineers to pick the best technologies, tools, and frameworks for our product
  • Help define new feature sets, choose implementation details, and set product direction as part of a high trust, high autonomy team
  • Help to grow the engineering team, through both formal processes such as hiring and performance management and informal processes such as technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the blockchain and cryptocurrency domains
  • Continuously improve the development process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Solidity, smart contracts, and web3 infrastructure is great, but not essential
  • A background in early stage startups and 0 to 1 product development is strongly preferred
