Remote Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a software engineer to join Succinct, a company specializing in zero-knowledge proofs, to help build and maintain distributed proving infrastructure for their zkVM and work on general backend systems for the prover network. The team is based in San Francisco but open to exceptional remote candidates.

Requirements

• Experience building software systems, with high-quality and well-documented production code
• A demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
• Passion for crypto and ZKPs
• Ownership mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an optimized, distributed proving cluster for SP1, Succinct's SOTA zkVM
• Work on general backend systems, including indexing, relaying, monitoring and more for our prover network

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with optimized systems programming
• Strong grasp of Rust
