Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer and help transform public sector procurement using AI. You will build and scale our core platform, integrate cutting-edge AI, and work with our customers in the GovCon space. This is a fully remote, flexible role in a fast-paced startup environment with high agency and the stability of a larger, successful business. You will plan, implement, and test product features, iterate with non-technical staff, and architect solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full-stack experience, including experience with TypeScript/JS and Vue.js, and a passion for leveraging AI to improve government contracting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full stack experience; 2+ years on a TypeScript/JS stack
• Deployed a Vue.js application to a production environment
• Well-spoken and comfortable articulating complex concepts
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSocket interfaces
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a low-process, high-ownership startup environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and test product features with high agency
• Iterate with our non-technical staff to improve performance
• Champion new lines of effort and bring ideas to the table
• Architect elegant solutions to complex, open-ended problems
• Help meet customer needs in an ever-evolving trillion-dollar industry
• Put together munitions: documentation, demos, diagrams, etc

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributed to open source or built hobbyist projects
• Experience in high agency, startup environments
• Infrastructure literacy with networking and containers
• Proficient in secure coding principles and practice
• Prior experience with generative AI
• Prior experience with Python

• The salary range for this opportunity is $110,160 - $129,600 per year
