Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• Have at least 5 years of backend development
• Have experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and MongoDB
• Have scaled platform features and/or optimized app performance
• Have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, with iterative execution in mind
• Have experience applying AI in products, or a strong interest in exploring this space
• Have a product-mindset who empathizes with users and is driven to solve their problems
• Have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own new product functionality and/or infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Lead high impact projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to enable our business and team to scale
• Set direction for critical technical surface areas, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth
• Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve and review their security posture
• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow
