Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join VGS, a global leader in payment tokenization, as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer on our Payments Acceptance team. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of our Card Management Platform (CMP), collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include engaging in all phases of the software development lifecycle, maintaining code quality, and being proactive in product improvement. Successful candidates will possess strong software development experience, cloud-native architecture expertise, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• 3+ years experience in hands-on software development, preferably in a SaaS company
• Hands-on experience in software architecture, design and development in a Cloud SaaS environment
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience working with cloud-native architecture, microservices, CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Argo), GitOps, APIs and API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Kafka (MSK), Java, Spring Framework, Python, and AWS services
• Strong experience in Observability solutions using Grafana and Open Telemetry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 8+ years experience in hands-on software development, preferably in a SaaS company
