Summary

Voltron Data is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the company's data-driven ecosystems. The role involves building tools for benchmarking, improving automation of benchmarking and profiling, and researching, designing, and implementing appropriate frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience with Python software development
• Experience with SQL query systems
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks
• User-focused software development
• Experience building tools, with an emphasis on developing tools that are a delight to use
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery

Responsibilities

• Guide, measure, and contribute to the Voltron Data and Apache Arrow ecosystems
• Build tools and infrastructure to measure, analyze, and make data-backed decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with distributed systems tracing, profiling, and logging
• Performance-related research and development experience
