Join Whatnot, a livestream shopping platform and marketplace, as a Senior Software Engineer in Growth to expand new user funnel across buyers and sellers, build incentivized buyer growth strategy, and design incentive management system. You will have big ownership and velocity to impact company top-line metrics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience building E-commerce products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience building scalable systems (we primarily use Python, Elixir, JavaScript)
  • Excellent product instincts
  • Proven track record of delivering user-facing features
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal English

Responsibilities

  • Expand new user funnel across buyers and sellers
  • Build incentivized buyer growth strategy
  • Design incentive management system from the ground up
