Summary
Join Zus, a shared health data platform, as a Senior Engineer on the Operational Data Store (ODS) team. You will build and operate data services for applications and APIs, collaborate with team members, and provide technical leadership. The ideal candidate has experience with operationally stable and cost-efficient data services, enjoys building backend services in Go, and is excited about the healthcare industry. The role involves working with large-scale data using AWS services and RESTful services. The position is based in the Boston metro area with a hybrid schedule or remote (EST/CST) with occasional travel. Requirements
- Are scrappy and you move fast
- Have experience with operationally stable and cost efficient data services
- Enjoy owning your work and seeing it deploy safely in production
- Are jazzed to build backend services in Go
- Have some experience with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (Github actions, CodeDeploy, CircleCI), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Responsibilities
- Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs
- Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality
- Provide technical leadership, contributing to the architecture and design of the teams systems
- Coach others to become better engineers
- Partner with product managers and other Zusers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in building and running large-scale systems in the cloud using Go
- Experienced in AWS DynamoDB
- Knowledgeable about application security
- Experienced in working with healthcare data and APIs
- Familiar with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards
