Senior Software Engineer, Automation

Summary

Join Komodo Health's QA team as a Senior Software Engineer in Automation Engineering and take charge of Data Quality Automation, focusing on the UCC (Universal Cohort Creator) Service. You will develop a data quality validation framework, lead automation aligning with CI/CD practices, perform API and performance automation, and drive process improvements. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including product managers, data engineers, and full-stack engineers. You will be responsible for creating detailed test automation strategies, building CI/CD pipelines, and providing actionable reports and insights. Requirements

• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with automating data validation with different schemas as input sources
• Ability to conduct automated API testing using tools like Swagger, and Postman and libraries like REST Assured, and Requests
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with Relational Databases
• Proficiency in implementing test automation for complex web and cloud products

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test automation strategies
• Create new frameworks and learn to manage existing ones
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and full stack engineers to define and implement data validation rules
• Build CI/CD pipelines and oversee execution
• Providing actionable reports and insights
• Be able to troubleshoot and debug problems in various environments
• Be able to perform gap analysis between different healthcare data set versions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a load-testing modern framework such as K6, Locust, or JMeter
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced and demanding agile environment
