Senior Software Engineer, Backend, Data Sync

Summary

Join HubSpot's Engineering team as a Software Engineer and contribute to the development and improvement of Data Sync, a crucial component of HubSpot's Operations Hub product. You will work on integrations with numerous third-party APIs, enhancing the platform used by thousands of customers daily. This role involves designing user-facing configurations, improving the Ruby integration framework, and collaborating with partners to optimize APIs. The position offers the flexibility of remote work within Ireland, hybrid, or office-based options in Dublin. Requirements

• Are proficient in Ruby (Ruby on Rails is not a requirement)

Responsibilities

• Work on a product used by thousands of HubSpot customers as a critical process they rely on every day
• Be in charge of the development and deployment of new and existing integrations on HubSpot data sync - we have over 100 of them already
• Play around with loads of third party APIs and applications
• Drive improvements to third party APIs through communication with partners
• Help improve our custom-built Ruby integration framework
• Define the user-facing sync configuration in our Ruby DSL

Preferred Qualifications

Like the idea of working on a small, customer-driven development team of 3-5 engineers
