Senior Software Engineer (C++)

Summary

The job description is for a Software Engineer position focusing on C++ development for an enterprise-level system in the FinTech domain. The role involves working remotely from Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia and contributing to various merchant transactions. The responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and improving product features, collaborating with engineering teams, evaluating technical solutions, providing time estimates, reviewing pull requests, and documenting technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong C++ proficiency on Linux
• Good knowledge of the language specification
• Strong command of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms
• General familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers
• Intermediate Linux OS proficiency (preferably RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu)
• Intermediate SQL proficiency (preferably Oracle) for queries, scripts, and stored procedures
• Hands-on experience with Oracle DB (v.11 or 12) and Amazon RDS
• Experience with CMake and Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
• Event-driven programming experience
• Proven ability to work with large code bases
• Knowledge of diverse architectures, patterns, and programming paradigms
• Intermediate+ English level

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of DevOps principles and practices
• Domain experience in FinTech
