Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building web applications
• Strong proficiency in multiple technologies in our stack: React, TypeScript, C#, ASP.NET , PostgreSQL
• Experience working on product-focused teams with end-to-end ownership

Responsibilities

• Apply your technical expertise and judgment to translate ideas, wireframes, and detailed designs into high-impact software solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and performant
• Collaborate in design and code reviews, setting a high bar for quality and best practices
• Triage, investigate, and resolve complex issues involving distributed systems and third-party providers
• Influence foundational technical decisions and drive improvements in architecture, security, and reliability
• Embrace an experimental and data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Understand and directly advance Highlight’s mission through your contributions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform) and Production system operations (AWS, Kubernetes, observability platforms like DataDog)
