Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, Frontend Platform

Summary

Join Grafana Labs' Frontend Platform Squad as a remote full-stack engineer working from a NASA timezone in the eastern US or Canada. You will design, build, and maintain critical systems, focusing on reliability and performance. Responsibilities include delivering new features, driving projects from ideation to operation, and mentoring team members. Your initial project will likely involve the Query Library or Accessibility improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong full-stack experience (React & GoLang), cloud experience, and a collaborative work style. Requirements

• You have a solid experience with building full stack applications (ideally using React & GoLang) using best practices, documentation and testing
• You have experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, brainstorming ideas all the way to shipping a product in a self-driven way
• You have experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud or some experience with systems engineering
• You are comfortable working in a remote-first company and understand the importance of communication
• You value autonomy and enabling decisions over committees and red tape
• You know how to transform ideas into working code . you are able to design a solution, get feedback, and write a prototype by yourself
• You care deeply about user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
• You care about our community of users and contributors

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability
• Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve
• Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers
• Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives
• Mentor and support other team members, participate in product discussions and collaborate with the team
