Senior Software Engineer I

Summary

Join Braze's WhatsApp team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to building and scaling one of Braze's newest messaging channels. Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• Professional experience building distributed systems at scale
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms
• A self starter with great communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience working in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to build out new features
• Improve performance
• Provide guidance on key architectural decisions
• Tackle significant engineering challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components for our systems
• Optimize our systems for resilience as they scale

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience with any of: Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, TypeScript
• Experience with agile processes
