Senior Software Engineer I

Summary

Join Spring Health's Revenue Cycle Management Team as a Senior Engineer and contribute to our mission of eliminating barriers to mental healthcare. You will build software to improve member understanding of care and costs, streamline payment processes, and ensure system integrity. This fully remote, full-time position requires experience with React, Ruby on Rails, and GraphQL API design. You will lead features, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with product and design teams. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Experience with React
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with Graphql API design
• Comfortable working on an agile team and curious about learning new things, experience on larger teams
• Comfortable moving fast and working through ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Create efficient user experiences leveraging React
• Build efficient payment pathways for users
• Craft and execute comprehensive tests to ensure system integrity
• Implement comprehensive observability and monitoring to ensure system success and reliability
• Take ownership of projects, collaborating with Product and stakeholders to build useful MVPs quickly and reliably
• Mentor other engineers, sharing knowledge, guiding best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment
• Work closely with product managers and designers to develop exceptional user experiences
• Deliver product features on-time that support financial flows
• Support team velocity through collaboration and PR reviews
• Raise the bar for engineering excellence and delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with revenue operations or revenue systems
• Experience with Docker & AWS
• Typescript experience
