Summary

Join Axon's Real Time Operations (RTO) Integrations team and accelerate the adoption of the Axon Fusus product. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build and maintain integrations with various partners, ensuring high availability and seamless deployment. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver exceptional solutions. Lead architecture and design reviews, mentor team members, and improve engineering processes. Work from home as much as desired, with a preference for proximity to Atlanta or Seattle offices. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Python software development
  • 5+ years of experience developing software using Django
  • 2+ years of experience developing software using Angular
  • Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
  • Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Python, Java, Go, C#, or similar
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores
  • Experience with realtime streaming event log or messaging technologies, such as Kafka or ActiveMQ
  • Experience working with cloud based APIs and infrastructure
  • Experience with AWS services and technologies
  • Experience building cloud based integration solutions

Responsibilities

  • Build exciting new 3rd party integrations within the Axon Fusus platform by working with our partners
  • Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integration solutions that delight our customers
  • Build the technical roadmap for Fusus Integrations
  • Lead engineering architecture and design reviews
  • Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews
  • Mentor and grow engineers on the squad
  • Improve our Engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning and stand-ups
  • Building services that adhere to our high bar on availability and latency in this mission-critical space
  • Leverage AI to bring about exciting new customer experiences
