Senior Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Dandy's Ordering Team and contribute to the transformation of the dental industry. As a key member, you will build and maintain cutting-edge scanning software used daily by dental professionals. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to develop new features and products, owning problems from user experience to scalability. The role demands a proactive approach to process improvement and adherence to high coding standards. You will primarily work with Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working as a software engineer
• Experience with modern web tooling and frameworks (such as TypeScript, React, Apollo, Storybook, and Webpack)
• You’re self-directed and can operate autonomously to deliver scaled impact
• Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features and products
• Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics
• Proactively identify and prioritize improvements to the team’s processes, codebases, and best practices
• Work primarily with Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electron
• Experience with Windows desktop application development
