Senior Software Engineer In Test

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS product, demonstrating significant impact on product and/or team
• Deep fundamental knowledge of testing principles, techniques, methods, and tools
• Strong experience in running testing efforts on large-scale customer-facing products and API products
• Knowledge and experience in scripting, coding, and automation tools
• Exceptional communication skills and upbeat character who can reach out to various stakeholders and get things done in a remote setting
• Willingness to quickly learn and use new technologies or frameworks
• Extremely data-driven
• Ability to work with and solve problems of a very complex nature

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of everything delivered to customers
• Work closely with product, design, and tech teams to deliver delightful products iteratively
• Work with stakeholders to understand product development, architecting and designing test strategies and plans, and executing them efficiently
• Create an automation culture within the test team, automating testing to improve speed and quality; work with engineers to improve integration testing
• Analyze logs, understand databases and structures, understand tools and frameworks, and use them for debugging and better tests
• Contribute to improving test and engineering experience by evaluating, developing tools/frameworks/workflows/reporting dashboards, etc
