Join CoreWeave's CoreWeave Kubernetes Service (CKS) team as a Senior Software Engineer and help scale one of the largest Kubernetes environments in the industry. You will design, develop, and support Kubernetes-based infrastructure, build applications and operators in Go, create custom Kubernetes interfaces, and develop observability solutions using Grafana. This role also involves enabling customer AI workloads, contributing to open-source projects, participating in incident response, collaborating across teams, and continuously seeking technical improvements. Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or software engineering
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architectures
- Have experience leading open source projects
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Are obsessed with customer success
- Ar curious to learn about the constantly evolving needs of AI workloads
- Have expertise in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk
- Have strong software engineering capabilities in Go, Bash, and other infra-focused languages
- Have strong Understanding of Linux fundamentals and principals
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy working as part of a team
- Are motivated to contribute to high-impact projects while continuing to grow and mentor others
- Possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Kubernetes-based infrastructure that powers CoreWeave’s products at scale
- Design and build applications and Kubernetes operators in Go
- Create and maintain custom Kubernetes interfaces and orchestration tooling
- Develop observability solutions using the Grafana ecosystem (e.g., Loki, VictoriaMetrics) to monitor reliability and performance
- Enable our customers’ AI workloads to run better on our cloud by developing differentiating features within our Kubernetes stack
- Contribute to CoreWeave’s leadership in AI-focused open source projects
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, contributing to a culture of operational excellence
- Collaborate across teams to integrate platform capabilities and support internal product needs
- Continuously seek areas of technical improvement, advocating for performance, security, and reliability enhancements
