Summary
Join Waabi, a leading AI company, and become a Senior Software Engineer contributing to the development of self-driving technology. You will be embedded within the Autonomy & Algorithms teams, focusing on creating data pipelines for training and evaluating the autonomous platform. This role involves working with large datasets from various sources, implementing performance metrics, and ensuring high-quality code. Requirements
- MS/Bachelors degree with 4+ years of industry experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning and/or similar technical field(s) of study
- Proficient in Python programming and strong software engineering fundamentals with real-world experience writing high quality, well-structured, and well-tested code
- Experience in data processing pipelines, ETL pipelines, distributed computing
- Understanding of cloud job orchestration, monitoring, and instrumentation best-practices
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions
Responsibilities
- Work across the ML development lifecycle, including dataset curation, labelling, generation, training, evaluation, and visualization
- Generate and work with large datasets from various sources including real world driving as well as Waabi World, our high-fidelity simulator
- Implement metrics and tags to provide a holistic understanding of model performance and enable the discovery of interesting scenarios for training and evaluation
- Champion engineering excellence, ensuring high-quality, well structured and tested code
- Assist in project roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience solving data problems in the field of autonomous driving
- Familiar with linear algebra (projections, transforms) and 3D geometry
- Previous experience in working with multimodal sensor data (e.g. LiDAR, RADAR, camera)
