Join the Platform team at Lattice to build software that helps companies create cultures where their staff thrive. As a key member of the Employee Data Platform, you will own and maintain critical systems used across Lattice, collaborating with teams to drive growth and meaningful change.

Requirements

• Have 4+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications
• Have production-level experience writing Javascript and be comfortable with either Node or React
• Experience working on and maintaining services for an organization operating at scale
• Experience building systems that are adopted by the wider engineering org
• Know the ins-and-outs of maintaining and scaling an application actively serving customers in production
• Seek out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues
• Be a great communicator and collaborator
• Take care to write code that your colleagues will also own, understand, and maintain
• Be clear and concise in explaining your thought process and in enumerating the tradeoffs made in your work
• Work well with designers and product managers to come up with optimal solutions
• Enjoy taking an active role in the development process
• Love supporting other software engineers who are newer to the industry
• Have experience taking the lead in planning and executing the development roadmap for software projects

Responsibilities

• Build software to help companies build cultures in which their staff thrive
• Work with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack
• Work closely with other product teams to understand and solve overarching pain points
• Drive the implementation of complex projects, including those that require cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers
• Provide substantial mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping to refine their technical craft and expand their knowledge
• Make contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve our team output
