Senior Software Engineer - Platform & Resiliency

Summary

Join Truffle Security Co. as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to meaningful advancements in cybersecurity. You will be part of a fully remote team focused on improving cloud infrastructure management, developing a product hosting platform, and enhancing customer experience. You will work on improving our systems running on Kubernetes in GCP, configured via Terraform, and enhance our monitoring and observability systems. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, infrastructure or platform engineering
• A strong sense of ownership demonstrated through delivering production-grade systems with strong testing, monitoring, and documentation practices
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally to design and deploy reliable, scalable systems
• Experience operating and optimizing infrastructure at scale, with a focus on high availability and performance
• Familiarity with SRE principles, including incident response, observability, and reliability engineering
• Eager to learn continuously; we don’t expect you to know everything from the start
• Excited about working in a small company with opportunities for ownership

Responsibilities

• Improve our cloud infrastructure management running on Kubernetes and setup with Terraform
• Developing and enhancing our product hosting platform
• Troubleshoot and architecturally improve our HTTP and gRPC clients and servers
• Work with other engineers to enhance the overall customer experience of our systems through seamless and stable deployments
• Engage in continuous learning and skill development on the job

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform and Go are preferred
• Passion for open source and cybersecurity is a plus!
• Experience working at an early-stage startup
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Passionate about improving developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines
