Senior Software Engineer, Streaming Platform

Join OLX and see how far you can go. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling a streaming platform based on Apache Kafka, connecting dozens of systems with high traffic volume.

Requirements

• Good coding skills and Computer Science fundamentals
• Experience in Event Streaming Architecture
• Appetite for learning and practicing multiple languages such as Kotlin, Golang, PHP
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and infrastructure as a code
• Understanding of observability solutions and protocols such as NewRelic, Prometheus, Open telemetry
• Experience in Docker and containerization
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Building, deploying, and operating the platform: you build it, you run it
• Contributing to SDKs for JVM, Golang and PHP
• Answering support cases opened by our development teams
• Educating development teams in their adoption of the streaming platform
