Summary
The Engineering Team at Rithum is composed of talented individuals who work to improve processes, quality, and techniques in software development. They employ a DevOps culture with a 'you build it, you run it' mentality and follow agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Engineers are responsible for partnering with product/User Experience designers, team collaboration, mentorship, technological evangelism, requirements gathering, design, implementation, pair programming, peer code reviews, and participating in on-call rotation. Minimum qualifications include proficiency in Angular, React, Typescript/JavaScript, Node.js, an understanding of event-driven serverless development concepts, and an understanding of RESTful API services. Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, OpenSearch), familiarity with other cloud technologies, a solid understanding of CI/CD tools/pipelines, and the ability to develop robust and secure code.
