Summary
Join Lumin Digital as a Senior Software Implementation Engineer and be responsible for the technical configuration of the Lumin Digital banking product and data conversion to the platform. Consult with clients on technical implementation components, providing custom solutions using Lumin Digitalβs SDK. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, create implementation documentation, and identify process improvements. Proactively mitigate risks, manage data conversion efforts, and troubleshoot implementation issues. The role involves leading complex implementations, contributing to best practices, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- Advanced implementation or development experience in digital banking or financial services
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kibana, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
- Proficiency with microservice architecture
- Strong experience using relational databases, including SQL
- Proficiency with agile project management tools, such as JIRA
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem solve, and work independently in high-pressure environments
- Experience leading requirement-gathering meetings and providing estimates for custom requests
- Ability to design, develop, document, and modify software systems
- Strong peer review skills to ensure code quality and maintainability
Responsibilities
- Configure the digital banking product during and after implementation to meet client needs
- Serve as a technical advisor to clients and internal services teams throughout the implementation process
- Collaborate with development, services, product, and support teams as part of cross-functional efforts
- Create implementation documentation and task lists for digital banking features
- Identify and lead improvements to organizational best practices to enhance delivery efficiency
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues affecting deadlines
- Manage and support data conversion efforts for client launches, vendor changes, and mergers or acquisitions
- Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Support production operations by addressing technical challenges as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- In lieu of a degree, five years of work experience in the software industry will be considered
Benefits
$145,000 - $165,000 a year
