Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright tool
- Proficiency with a wide range of automation tools such as UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, etc
- Strong understanding of automation frameworksโexperience in developing and implementing them from scratch
- CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Strong programming skills with expertise in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Ability to comprehend the technical intricacies of software products and translate that into automation test cases
- Experience working in an Agile environment with a deep understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to guide and mentor the team to ensure the successful implementation of the automation test suite
- Skilled in collaboration with development, testing, and DevOps teams to streamline testing processes
- Familiarity with Life Sciences GxP validation and related compliance requirements is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage projects and initiatives with moderate complexity
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define the testing scope
- Perform manual and automated testing on various platforms, including web, mobile, and APIs
- Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with other teams for timely resolution
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and security testing as required
- Build automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and languages
- Continuously improve test automation coverage to reduce manual testing efforts
- Advocate for best practices in QA and contribute to process improvements
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and processes
- Ensure adherence to best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Write clean, legible, efficient, and well-documented code
- Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Help to support your peers by pair programming, reviewing code, and through mentorship
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
- Other duties as assigned
