Summary

Join our team as a Senior Software Quality Engineer to work on designing, implementing, and executing tests for our SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure the highest product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright tool
  • Proficiency with a wide range of automation tools such as UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, etc
  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks—experience in developing and implementing them from scratch
  • CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Strong programming skills with expertise in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Ability to comprehend the technical intricacies of software products and translate that into automation test cases
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with a deep understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to guide and mentor the team to ensure the successful implementation of the automation test suite
  • Skilled in collaboration with development, testing, and DevOps teams to streamline testing processes
  • Familiarity with Life Sciences GxP validation and related compliance requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and initiatives with moderate complexity
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define the testing scope
  • Perform manual and automated testing on various platforms, including web, mobile, and APIs
  • Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with other teams for timely resolution
  • Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and security testing as required
  • Build automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and languages
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage to reduce manual testing efforts
  • Advocate for best practices in QA and contribute to process improvements
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and processes
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Write clean, legible, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Help to support your peers by pair programming, reviewing code, and through mentorship
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
  • Other duties as assigned
