Requirements

  • Associate's Degree (or higher) in Computer engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Enterprise IT architecture experience and strong knowledge of multiple architecture models with technical knowledge in the following areas: Cloud Native Architecture and Infrastructure Patterns
  • Containers, Service Mesh and API’s
  • Cloud migration (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) including legacy applications
  • Agile delivery methods
  • SDLC tools
  • Extensive experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans
  • Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis
  • Proven experience in systems and network design and development
  • Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices
  • In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems
  • Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to successfully interact with all levels of management, other IT professionals and end users
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Due to the nature of the work we support, all candidates in consideration for this role must be willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process

Responsibilities

  • Assist development of staffing buildup plans to support required service delivery requirements
  • Support federal/defense government agencies and demonstrated technical breadth in support of government markets and government IT services design, implementation, operations, and modernization
  • Experience in operational performance owning the technical lead charter in the performance and growth of contracts and with supporting on-contract growth through insertion of innovation and technology on existing programs
  • Industry understanding with leading capabilities providers to enhance solutions offerings and close gaps in offerings yielding competitive technical solutions
  • Capture technical requirements and defining technical solutions in service, conceptual, execution and technical views. Solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps, Cloud Migration and solution approach outlines
  • Perform requirements traceability (e.g., horizontal & vertical scalability, performance, maintainability, load distribution, resilience and recovery)
