Requirements

  • 7+ years of demonstrable and consistent enterprise sales track record, exceeding Sales targets
  • Cyber security sales experience, familiarity with SIEM, MSSP/MDR and SOC as a service operating models
  • Demonstrated ability understand, partner and negotiate with CISO’s and SecOps leaders to solve for challenges with EDR, Vulnerability Management, and SIEM solutions
  • Successfully worked in the channel and partner-driven sales environments with first-hand experience exceeding sales targets in the target territory
  • Familiarity with Splunk/Splunk Cloud and Cisco XDR
  • Knowledge of the Splunk and/or Cisco sales functions- from Account Executives to Specialists who are involved in selling Splunk or Cisco suite of security products
  • Collaborative, knowledgeable and proficient with the sales process from initiation to close; MEDDPICC is a plus
  • Excellent listening, trust building, and proposal creation skills - not only presenting ‘what we do’, but ‘how we do it differently’ with direct correlation to identified customer challenges, business and technical target outcomes
  • Proven experience with territory development, working closely with channel and tech partners to build/maintain required pipeline
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate professional persistence and enthusiasm while communicating with prospects and clients
  • Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Teams, and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive healthy revenue growth within your assigned territory by leveraging BlueVoyant’s entire product portfolio and successfully executing against your assigned pipeline, revenue and partner program objectives
  • Lead the overall sales process, from prospecting through contract negotiation, execution and partner collaboration, with new logos and existing clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure positive outcomes for BlueVoyant, partners, and end-customers
  • Consistent and effective prospect engagement, grounded in consultative selling and professional presentations, with a focus on business and technical outcomes to cyber security and risk-focused leaders
  • Timely and accurate Salesforce.com administration, including but not limited to revenue forecasting and account activities
  • Build and maintain measurable business and account plans to support team objectives and demonstrate success towards territory, partner and revenue achievement objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of managed security services, managed detection and response, vendor risk capabilities in the cybersecurity market
  • Experience in a startup environment and be able to contribute to refining our offerings and go-to-market approaches
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Sentinel, E3/E5 Microsoft License models, related security ecosystem technology solutions
