Summary

Join SandboxAQ's Cybersecurity Group as a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to AQtive Guard, a groundbreaking cybersecurity solution. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to integrate research advancements into new products, develop and maintain infrastructure, design scalable architecture, and ensure high-quality deliverables through CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, scripting languages, and building large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with configuration management tools and security-related concepts. Requirements

  • Strong experience using, building, and maintaining infrastructure in AWS
  • Strong experience managing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience defining infrastructure and processes as a code through Terraform, and managing CI systems
  • Strong experience with a few scripting languages
  • Expertise building large-scale distributed systems
  • Ability to containerize and automate deployments and tests using CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work in a small team/rapid prototyping environment and deal with uncertainty and fluidity
  • Understanding of standard IT security best practices

Responsibilities

  • Work with teams of developers and cryptographers to integrate their research advancements into new products
  • Develop and maintain tooling for interacting with the various deployments, set up local development environment, and maintain a complex code base
  • Work across on-premise, cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures to deliver fully functional products
  • Design scalable and fault-tolerant architecture for cloud deployments
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and concise documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
  • Knowledge of security-related concepts and technologies
  • Familiarity with Bazel
  • Familiarity with streaming frameworks, especially Kafka and Kstreams
